The world has changed this year under the shadow of the COVID-19 pandemic. During the lockdown and social distancing I started a series of images called „Self-isolation”. I tried to focus on my daily life activities during the pandemic. My goal was to create simple images using film camera showing my vision of life in this unexpected situation.
Lisbon
Lisbon is one of the most vibrant and charismatic cities of Europe. It is a city that effortlessly blends traditional heritage, with striking modernism and progressive thinking. I decided to share with you some of my most favourite photos I took during my visit. Enjoy!
Brussels
Brussels, unique in every aspect. A real treat for fans of fancy architecture and delicious chocolate! It was in Belgium that Art Nouveau was born, thanks to the visionary mind of Victor Horta – a Belgian architect and designer. Did you know that Art Nouveau and Art Deco are actually two very distinct design movements? Art Nouveau is the decorative one. Art Deco is sleeker. It’s amazing, isn’t it? But for me the most wonderful experience was a visit to Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium. Inspired by the works of artists from Belgium or from the former Southern Netherlands I took some photos on a 35mm film.
