Brussels, unique in every aspect. A real treat for fans of fancy architecture and delicious chocolate! It was in Belgium that Art Nouveau was born, thanks to the visionary mind of Victor Horta – a Belgian architect and designer. Did you know that Art Nouveau and Art Deco are actually two very distinct design movements? Art Nouveau is the decorative one. Art Deco is sleeker. It’s amazing, isn’t it? But for me the most wonderful experience was a visit to Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium. Inspired by the works of artists from Belgium or from the former Southern Netherlands I took some photos on a 35mm film.
